All About Me

In case you are interested, here are some facts about me. I’m in my early thirties and into a lot of things such as writing, singing, doing publicity for some companies and certain genuinely likeable personalities. I paint, I draw and I dream of one day becoming either a fashion designer or painter, or both, among other things.

I’m still single, still up for grabs, and I’m giving myself two months to find out if what one of my bestfriends told me is indeed true--that once I stop trying to help God find a mate for me some brilliant guy will just pop out of nowhere with a ring and a fat bank account. Or he would, at least, look and sound like someone with a fat bank account (in other words, may potential!).

I am an only child, a Daddy’s Girl and very bratty. But since I’m in my thirties now I have no more reason to act like the spoiled kid that I am. I have to act and think like I’m all grown-up. I realize I need to do this if want to be successful in my chosen career/s. But then I also realize this isn’t the best way to attract the man of my dreams. I do dream of becoming a pampered housewife, you know! (Oh well, such is just a sample of the complexities that pepper my life.)

This blog is all about my experiences as a thirty-something single trying to make a living and trying to find love here in this deliriously exciting place called Manila. By the way, you may call me Ligaya (not my real name!).
