Ah! Weddings!

Yesterday afternoon I chanced upon another celebrity wedding on TV. I caught the tail-end of the coverage, just a few seconds before the minister asked the groom to kiss his bride. As the bride and groom tearfully and happily kissed each other I remembered this poem I wrote for a friend who got married last year:

into the wind.

they jelled
like they were
made for each other.

forgoing differences
they yelled
to all their happiness.

will it last?

who cares.


PS. A stranger sent me an e-mail on MySpace today. The message was brief: hi, 31 ka na bket wla ka png asawa? My reply: baket? kelangan ba meron?

I will definitely get married, as soon as I'm ready to throw all caution to the wind. hehehe :D
