Bikini Babes

I never knew I look good in a bikini until last weekend when I went to Caylabne Bay Resort with Ate Joy and Nanette. And when I say bikini, I mean string bikini, not the pa-demure two piece swimsuits that are in vogue now. Except for a little excess fat, man, I was gorgeous! hehe. So now I'm determined to shed as much bilbil as I can in time for our planned week-long excursion in Bora two weeks from now. In fact, today, I started my Atkins diet. So far, so good. I'm really determined this time. So don't dare burst my bubble. Kaya ko 'to. (Retreats to Lotus Yoga Position, with hands in the air... harmmmmm...)

The three of us had the time of our lives donning our bikinis, swimming, kayaking, eating, and talking. But it was the 'bonding' time that I appreciate the most. All I can say is hurrah to girl power! Weekends like the one we had never fail to make us really grateful that we're all still single. Ang sarap mabuhay, lalo na kung dalaga! hehe =)

I had so much fun last weekend I forgot that I had reason to be disappointed. ***'s band played there that Saturday. But he wasn't with the group, he texted to say he was still stuck in Bora, most probably having the time of his life too, with a loved one. Haaay. Bakit ba kami hinaharangan ng sibat? Talaga bang hindi pwede, Lord?

A lot of other things transpired last weekend that firmed up my decision to forego that hospital-based job offer. Like Ate Joy, I want to have the freedom to really enjoy life and stay focused on doing the things I really love and am passionate about. Right now, I'm really fired up to see my own book on bookstore shelves by the end of the year. And I have to start working on it even as I take care of some responsibilities at home. I can't just let the world pass by while I toil behind a desk with nothing but the false sense of security one gets from having a full-time job.

BTW, I love my skin color, I am so itim. Exotic! =)
