Babies and ABCs

Monday was my 4-year-old nephew Sean's first day in school and I accompanied him. He's attending classes at a learning center near our village. By the end of the month all the kids are expected to know their ABCs and 123s by heart. Wala lang. Naaliw lang ako. I remembered when I was a 3-year-old kid being forced inside the classroom. Hehe. Riot! I was (am?) a bratty little girl, you can say. ;o)

BTW, I was 3 when I learned to read. By the time I was 7 I already had to wear eyeglasses. But my Mom didn't want me to grow up wearing glasses so she made me go to this acupuncturist and I had to endure sleeping with bended needles on my thighs and arms. And it worked. I was already in college when my eye doctor said I need to wear eyeglasses again.
