Drugged, in pain, & broke

Since yesterday I've been suffering from severe back pain caused by my right lumbar scoliosis. Much as I hated it, I had to take a strong dosage of pain killers. I even had to wear a binder and lie down for most of the day. I'm having difficulty sitting up straight. I wanted to do yoga this morning but the pain was so unbearable.

I was telling my brother maybe he should make me a makeshift traction so I could hang my feet up while I sleep at night. Ala-BatGirl! The pain's just too much. And to think I don't even have a sex life. *sigh*

I really have to lose weight to keep my scoliosis from getting worse. I'm scared! My cousin, who is just some months older than me, is now at the hospital where she will spend ten days in a traction to correct her worsening scoliosis. And she is thin!

I don't want to say that scoliosis is a family curse but that's how it may seem to some people. Imagine, we actually have a family orthopedist!

Warning: To any males out there who may be looking at taking me as a wife someday (as if there's anyone out there, but just in case) I want to let you know now that apart from scoliosis I also have a high risk of getting cancer--my Mom died of it--and heart disease--my Dad almost died of it.

You can brand me as "high-maintenance." I really am, anyway. That's why when I grow up I want to be a pampered housewife, nothing less. I don't want to worry about not having money, like right now. I have money, yes, I've been working, but the problem is the money that's supposed to be mine is not in my hands yet, because some guys who are wallowing in wealth have refused to pay for my services. They call it prudent cashflow management. I call it insensitivity.

But I'm still glad that with all these things happening to me now I can confidently say that I am joyful, and grateful for all the blessings that have come my way and those yet to come.

PS. Before you go out and vote next month I hope you'll take the time to see what Bro. Eddie Villanueva has to offer. If we really want change I really believe he is our best bet. So please, please, do consider him. For more information check out this link.
