For my bestfriend

My Dearest Rose,

I just want to tell you that I'm glad to have you. I heart you dear sis. Thanks for always showing concern, always crying with me, praying with me, going through every struggle with me no matter how shocking my struggles may seem to you.

Thank you for laughing at my jokes, for laughing at me even when I'm not trying to be funny, and even if I'm not a 40-year-old psycho/psychiatrist with a cute smile. Thank you for scolding me and wringing my neck everytime I willfully do stupid things.

Life's hard, especially when you've got big dreams that are taking forever to come true. But I thank God I have you to remind me to keep on holding on, to never lose hope. Thank you for the verses you forward to me every morning. (I've been forwarding them to my other friends and now they all think I'm such a good girl. hehe.) And thank you for always asking about my prayer life. There's no way I can express how much I appreciate you.

I guess, I'm just too blessed to have you. God bless you dear sis, and always remember, when all the frogs have left, you'll have me to croak with you.

By the way, Sean and I were finally able to watch Shrek 2 the other day. We enjoyed it immensely. It's so funny. Anyway, here are some lessons I learned while watching that movie:

1. Frogs may become kings, but in the end they're really better off as frogs.

2. Better to marry an ogre than to marry a vain Prince Charming with a cute smile, who is still hung up on his mother.

3. Fairy godmothers can be evil. Hmmm...

4. Prince Charming can be more ogre than an ogre.

5. An ogre can be real charming, so don't judge him until you get to know him.

I love you, sis. *MWAH*
