So much you could learn from Friendster...

I've recently picked up the habit of checking out the profiles of some Friendsters.

There was this girl I was particularly interested in because of some kind of 'connection' we have (go figure!). I would check her profile from time to time because she always changed the Status, About Me, And Who I Want To Meet sections, depending on her current situation.

It intrigued the journalist in me. We haven't seen each other in eons and yet, because I checked out her profile often, I know that: she had a big fight with her boyfriend a few weeks ago; she's pretty insecure about her current relationship; and that she is somewhat disappointed that her previous relationship has now really ended because her ex is now seeing somebody else (who also happens to be her friend)--a fact that I also figured out after checking out that other girl's profile =) You might say I'm a snoop but you have to forgive me. I'm a journalist, remember?

Unfortunately for the snoop in me, not everyone has the habit of changing their profiles and photos to match their current situations. Oh well. :(

Try it some time. You'd be amazed at the amount of info you can dig just by checking your Friendster's profile from time to time. In fact, if you were able to check on my own profile these past several weeks, you would have noticed that I was in some emotional roller-coaster ride. You probably would have noticed too that I deleted someone from my Friendster list, for some reason I'm not gonna tell you.

Right now I have no intention of changing my profile anytime soon. And I'm glad that only a few smart ones could understand why I updated it recently to show these:
